So we just found out that before we ever agreed to a dual qual system by voting on the TA, the union has signed an LOA allowing ATL FO's to go into differences training starting monday and be trained to be dual qualified on the 200 and 900 for DTW flying and getting paid 900 rates for all of the flying they do, meanwhile its pushing DTW fo's down the list back to reserve.
We not only need to vote no but we need to organize a new union the day after.
The MEC is walking a very thin line right now for many. The TA needs to get voted down and this LOA revoked. I am speechless over the last 2 weeks of actions. I am a very strong supporter of ALPA and its fully understood that no union is perfect, but this is getting truly out of hand. We have a 99% strike vote, industry leading performance, and we just keep on giving I guess.
