I hope you're wrong again (about NOQ after talking with Dr. Kendall's group) because it was my impression that they were a go-between between you and the FAA, not you and the Company. As well, I don't think that they will even have a conversation with the Company about you or your situation. Could be wrong about this, but I hope not.
