Also, to add to it, this flow will pick up steam in its current proposed state. What that means is resetting DCI costs where it once again will be advantageous to the company to promote outsourcing of this flying. That IMHO is an unintended consequence.

A victory is getting the company to agree to letting each DCI contract expire. In a few years all we will have is 70+ seat RJ's. To me that sounds like it was in the 80's when the DC-9-10 and 15 were around, the difference now is that the mainline is not flying them.
