Plenty of "hubris" from two just out of BK legacies on both sides in DAL/NW deal. Now what would have Lee Moak's tune been at Delta had DAL bid on a smaller BK carrier - let's merge the list 'cause we're all brothers in arms here? What would the pilot group have done if any proposal different from ours at SWAPA been proposed? Scream BS that's what.
Oh .... and "brace yourself" as you said ... I used to work at Delta and quit to work at SWA. I know very well how that would have sold.
Delta/NWA much different than SWA/F9 - that is why "merger" was a key word in you post.

My initial post does not even hinge on whether NWA/DAL, SWA/F9 or anything else was a merger. The point of the post was pilots behaviors on APC.
People can agrue the points and counter-points of the merits of their groups case as voraciously as they want, but there is a point where it goes too far. There is a difference in screaming bs and outlandish behavior and it shouldnt matter what the situation is to condem the latter.
I don't go to FI ever, so I don't know anything about the General or his merry men. But, if you can tell me that they are;
1.) telling pilots wives that they need to go get work as a bar maid,
2.) making sexual references about the joystick of the A-320.
3.) Posting lewd pictures, &
4.) [the list goes on],
...then I am wrong AND I will apologize for their actions, because it is uncalled for and childish.
For APC, I will point out that, yesterday I did see two SWA pilots who had never posted on here before say enough was enough and condemed the behavior. You could do the same. Because in the end it doesn't matter if its a merger, acquisition, or even a fist-fight, some actions and statements are just too much.
