I would love to the this MEC's big picture. They have done many things so very well, that the total lack of communication on scope just does not add up. I personally think that there is a big plan, but the fact is that even if this is true the frustrated ones will try to vote the big thinkers out of office. If it is the case communicate it and once again the group is unified.

If it is not the case, it needs to become the case.

I have truly given up on this MEC and DALPA in general as an enforcer of scope, let alone take it back. I suggest if our group really wants to get serious about this issue then we need to oust the current leadership. The second goal should be is to oust ALPA. Only then will we take anything back. That is certainly my opinion but history supports my view of what Alpa and our current leadership is capable of. We need a group willing to fight for Delta Pilots. Alpa is not getting the job done. I vote for an in-house union or a team of unions representing mainline interest only. This is long past due and it may already be too late.

If there was any big plan the MEC has then why would our chairman not fight the company with this latest grievance. The LEC reps say they didn't know about this giveaway until after the fact. There should have been an immediate attempt to recall the chairman by the LEC's who say they didn't know. It is obvious to me Scope is not a priority to any in our leadership. There is no hidden agenda. The only thing they are hiding is their spine.

Frustrated, yes, and you'll get there too in a few years unless things change.
