I agree with the whole idea that working at a regional, but to say our QOL sucks, um sure. I know my contract is better then airways and Cal mainline. Yes my pay sucks, but as a 2nd year fo I'll break 45k this year. Not that is enough for what I do, but it's better then most. Also payrates are not what make it at an airline.
