A performance bonus is NOT a raise. It's a bonus that is somehow based on ones performance. Usually hourly folks don't qualify for these types of compensation, however, salaried folks (in most other companies anyway) usually do. It's the nature of the beast, and it's why guys like Boycaptain and Mayday, and you and I don't get performance bonuses. Because we're hourly folks. Get it?
