Default Question About Becoming USAF Pilot.

Hello Everyone,

I'm 24 years old, and I am considering becoming an Air Force pilot. From what I've read, I have three options to become a pilot. Of them, only OTS applies to me (already have a 4 year degree).

Here's a little bit of information about me:

I have a bachelors degree summa cum laude in biology (chemistry minor) from New York University (3.87 gpa). I am also in the process of completing a master's degree in biomedical engineering from Columbia University (current 3.85 gpa). I'm 6'1", lift weights every day for 2 hours, and have been told by people that I look like a pilot should. I was going to go to medical school, but things have changed.

Several Questions:

1) Would OTS accept me ?
2) How long after OTS will I be able to be a pilot?
3) What are the chances they'll ship me to some crap country in the middle of nowhere?

Any other information you could offer would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks so much.
