I really like question #3. For review, the purpose of the Air Force and the reason the taxpayers fund it IS NOT to be a jobs program - despite what the purposes of other government programs are. The purpose of the Air Force is to fight wars. As much as we would all like to live on the beach, show for work at 10:00am, and fly 6-9 times/week, it never works out that way. As much as we want to go to war with Amsterdam in the Dutch Antilles, it never works out that way. But then again, maybe it does for those who are 6'1", work out 2 hrs/day, and are constantly told they look like a pilot. We have to film the recruiting videos someplace nice.
