Just did the Wilson poll. One question intrigued me. Rank, 1 to 5, the importance of "seniority based", open time pick up assignments (or something to that affect). I guess it would work like this. When the next days trips are put in open time, pilots would be free from 7-10 to put in the trade and makeup requests and then at 10, they would be assigned by seniority vice time. That way, the very senior guys who get all the best trips and protect their carry over, could grab more good deals without the need to interrupt their beauty sleep. I picture FH rolling out of the sack at 9:30, throwing on his silk kimono, climbing on his new aquisition from The Scooter Store and racing to the computer to get his high seniority wishes in. Needless to say, I gave it a 1 (lowest) on the next contract wish list. One wonders how this came up and who wants it? No wait.........I think I know.
