I will give you the reader's digest version. The EWR Chief Pilot is a giant jerk and I have some pithy stories to demonstrate it. CAL management is stupid and they are ruining the airline. It's time for CAL pilots to make more money.
Those guys are fighting HARD for their future and its too bad more union leadership doesn't do the same.
Not saying that we need to play hardball all the time, in fact it should be done cooperatively as much as feasible, but when you get stabbed in the back as often as the CAL pilots have, its time to get back to union basics and flex as much muscle as possible.
