I'm curious Rick, your profile says you fly a crj. What did you make you're first year flying the crj or which ever aircraft you were flying year one at your airline? I am not picking a fight, I was just curious where that was.
Mesa, which was a mistake. But I took the job not not to "feed my family" but to get a base close to home. I had the time to get a job at any regional, I just didn't know they was much difference between them. My bad, and it cost me some valuable seniority to find out.
I now work for a regional which pays me $40-50K as an FO (depending on how much I work or don't work). The first year was of course much lower but that is the case anywhere unfortunately.
But a D8 FO at mesa is stuck at $25K forever...the other guy was kidding himself.
