Thanks for the feedback
Thanks, appreciate the 411. Being ‘new’, that’s fair, soon approaching year three. But this is stuff you just can’t find in any manual or union contract. So, unless you spend allot of time the lounge, or go beyond the average small talk at cruise, APC seems to be a good place to find out what’s really going on in a company, or just allot of half-truths mixed in some venting and flame throwing. But that’s all good, makes for good reading at the crash pad.
Sorry if I came off long-winded and whinny, wasn’t my intent, but sure I did anyway. I rarely post, mostly just browse.
As for the APU comments, agree, most folks are pretty good about keeping the cabin comfortable. But I have on rare occasionally shared the cockpit some sticklers. I was never really aware of the issue until I had to deadhead a few legs over the summer. A full cattle car can get pretty stuffy in no time. Even at the gate, when they board early, sometimes ground crews are lazy to hook-up air because they think it feels OK outside, but they miss the key word here ‘outside’, not in the cabin where we can’t roll down the windows.
OK, enough said, I’m ranting again and sure that I have reached my personal word count for APC this quarter. Unless inspired by alcohol, I’m out.
