FCIF stands for Fllight Crew Information File...Fedex management's way of disseminating info to the crews. Started out years ago as loose leaf binders in flight ops and is of course now digitalized. There are a bunch of different types of fcif's and the administrative one allows guys who are retiring to publish a letter to the crew force with their thoughts about their career, email addresses, etc. When our #1 guy retired a while ago his letter said,,,"you don't get too many chances in life to make everyone happy, but...."
