Unfortunately negligence is not "criminal" since most managers don't intend to be stupid.

Dare I point out that the music is stopping in some parts of our industry and not all pilots have seats to sit in. This has already happened at your airline where pilots have been furloughed. This in spite of your MEC's assurances that scope had been obtained which would prevent outsourcing your flying to SkyWest.

Again, I believe you should be on the phone to your own reps instead of stirring up the Delta line guys who visit this forum to get the "latest and greatest" on Delta. We're only wasting your time.
From what I can tell, the only contracts DAL is trying to cancel are the low quality providers. Perhaps they've realized cheaper isn't really better? We can all only hope so.

The lawsuit over IROP pay is just business. Both sides have said that. I don't think managers take things like that personally. Talk about SA, way to see everything from a pilot perspective.

Regarding criminal negligence, I was referring to their duty to the shareholders.

Thanks for your opinion of who I should call. Unfortunately, my reps don't return my calls (nor those of most of my peers), and think they know what's best for us. Hopefully they will be voted out soon.

And once again, I will post to any forum I please, whenever I see something interesting. You may choose to ignore me. Or pony up and start your own members only message board. At least that way you won't have to be exposed to viewpoints different than yours.
