Move on, The civil war is over....
That sounds weird. The Delta offer in February was a relative seniority list, the list we ended up with is basically a relative seniority list. You must be lucky. The final list was certainly much closer to a relative seniority list than it was a date of hire list.
It sounds to you like it was worth the lower contract to go to arbitration. In that case, then there should not be complaints about the differences in DC and longevity. It seems like the guy that is complaining got his arbitration and now wants his money too.
I don't want to start a civil war, I just wanted to point out that actions have consequences. Sometimes people like to imagine a consequence free world, but that doesn't exist. Often the webboards are dominated by those who want to ignore the consequences of their actions. The lesson is not important for the past, because it is over. However, as we move on to other decisions it is important for people to understand that pretending your actions are consequence free carries a great deal of risk.
