well, best of luck...aviation is all about being at the right place at the right time...with the exorbitant cost of 100LL avgas, tightened credit markets, economy etc. I'm sure flight school enrollment is at an all time low in south america. during the 40's and 50's a great number of pilots at avianca were from the USA, due to a pilot shortage...ironically that's where they got experience to move on to eastern or panam.
