We at mainline believe that one or more DCI's will benefit from the USAir gate swap. All those cities in the NE can not handle mainline A/C loads. Comair is our high cost DCI as they have so many folks on the upper pay scales and their on-time performance has not been stellar to sway the least. Now they have been set-up for failure being hubbed at JFK. Come SOC in January things will get interesting for all of us.
I am very glad to see that mainline pilots will be fighting to take flying back. Good news for all of us.

As far as our (Comair's) performance numbers, all I can say about that is that the bulk of our delays and cancellations are as a result of the slot swap program. Why delay an MD-80 or 757 when you can delay a 50 seat RJ? Maybe we are being set up for failure.
