Mesaba can't paint the whole fleet all at once. The 200 does ZERO blue tail flying. That is ONE reason the 200s haven't been painted yet. The 200 has really new paint. That's another reason. The 200s are covering some of the 900 and Saab routes while they are being painted. That's the main reason they aren't being painted YET. In one of our company updates (which Farang doesn't get) Spanjers said the 200s will begin the painting process once the 900s are done.
Seriously, if I hear one more person say we are losing the 200s JUST because they're not getting painted I might go postal.

Do you even know the history behind those 200's? By your comments you seem like a newb. I'm guessing not since you MIGHT have two years here. Don't believe everything you hear from Spanjers. Remember Foley? Of course not...
What is blue tail flying? If the 200's are covering for the 900's are the 900's not doing 'blue tail' flying either? Or do they only put painted 900's on 'blue tail' flying?
Our contract has been amendable as of January of this year (2009).
