The contract is not the best but you credit well, block or better, days off that's all that matters. A 2 year old contract is not going to be ground breaking especially at a new regional airline.
Well you just proved the point right there.
Substandard pay is all that gojets was created for, and Hulas got away with it. There is simply nothing "industry standard" about the gojets contract. As many have been trying to tell you for about 15 pages or so, not only do you guys have substandard pay, but inferior work rules which is exactly what we were trying to fight for in 2005. Every time one of you guys agrees to work for an alter-ego company such as gojets you not only circumvent a contract, you create irreversible damage to this industry, and the proof is now United.
For those of you from United that agree to take the job at gojets, take a look at the alter ego Tilton is trying to create. Hulas set a precedent in the industry, when instead of negotiating he simply walked away open another company knowing that there would be people of certain moral disability willing to work for an alter-ego, which in itself had the same effect as those who have crossed a picket line.
You never did answer my question. If Hulas decided to open another company instead of negotiating for better work rules and pay with you guys, how would you feel? What if Hulas just started to strip gojets apart and gave the flying to his new toy company? How would you feel if you were on the receiving end of the alter-ego?
Posted the question for the second time.
