I think most of JAL's pilots are contract pilots hired though WASINC. Maybe there is an opening with a 50.001%+ stake in this company to own that flying, not just JV it. We shall see.
The pilots hired through WASINC fly JALways, an outsourced subsidiary flying a few of the beach markets. JAL proper is their own pilots. Not sure if JAL and JALways codeshare or cross seat on the same tickets. If so you might have the potential for some of our flying to be outsourced to US pilots on furlough doing overseas contract work.
