My understanding is you file for unemployment in the state you reside, unless you live in NJ, NY, or CT and work in NYC, in which case you file in NY. Only mildly confusing. I know one person who's going to be making a whopping $300 less on unemployment than he did at Piedmont. That's a testament to the regional pilot pay scale right there. And PDT is "good" when you compare it to Mesa and Colgan.
