Maybe its me and nothing against cape air but for the niche (EAS) that they serve, Seaports PC12's can do it more efficiently. The 402 fleet is old and there is no current replacement by cessna to replace 57 once the vessel life is up. IMHO
PC12's would be a good pick for EAS followed closely by the Caravan. Both have boots so icing shuoldnt be a big problem. PC12's can go higher and faster than the van but i believe the operating costs on the van is a fraction of the cost. C402's are aging and I was under the impression that Cape Air was looking to find a replacement for their fleet?
