Anyway, when I upgraded, mins were 2000 hours. I had 1800 hours when I upgraded (we had that 2:1 setup, so my hours were worth 2300 hours). Company just reupped their minimums to 3500 hours again. My question is because I had already upgraded, do I have to meet these minimums again? (I'm only 200 hours short, i'll probably have 8000 hours before we ever upgrade again). Or am I good because I'm a downgraded captain
You already have your PIC type so with things grandfathered in perhaps you're ok. After doing the CA upgrade checkride you're a CA in my book just being paid to fly as an FO
I doubt anyone working on those rules thought of these scenarios though.
