I think you are barking up the wrong tree. The problem is not commuter pilots accepting substandard wages. Because the wages are where they should be for a commuter pilot, because a commuter pilot pilot should be flying turboprops! ALPA made the mistake of allowing them to fly jets. It's sickening to see a regional guy flying a EMB-195. If ALPA had a clue, all those regional guys would be flying those RJs for a mainline carrier making at least $130 hr.
