That is all and well for daytime domestic but he thinks it will carry over to the Europe augmented flying also. Not good. We lose the augment to Europe on dang near every flight. I think you should wait until the full report comes out, before passing judgment. I am pretty sure that they did not touch the augmentation rules. This is a complicated subject it is best to wait to read the whole thing rather than rely on snippets of data from people who have only snippets of data. Or you could just take your shots based on rumor. I know a guy who did a lot of the work for the committee, I talked with him for over an hour, and I still didn't get the whole story. It is quite detailed, but I think most pilots will see the improvements in the new rules. They are based on science and not economics.
