Why do you feel the need to educate someone with whom you are flying with ? Why is it deemed necessary to give him a copy of the AIM and highlight points to which you feel are important to this person ? Was he/she really that bad ? Because if you gave me a printout of the AIM we would have words at that instant to clear up this ' rift ' you seemed to have run into....
And after the words, I'd let you hone your radio skills on all future legs we fly together. It's my job to train up my replacement after all.
