As this AE deadline approaches and I am wondering if I am doing the right thing by NOT bidding MSP where I would be much more senior, I have one last second question before the 2 pm deadline.

For your monthly bidding during holiday months (Christmas, Thanksgiving, 4th of July) does the computer program assign a point on the bid list where EVERYONE must work?

Up North, if you were somewhere around the bottom 1/3 of the list you would be assigned a trip over the holiday no matter what. How does that work when you can bid block or reserve and about how far up the list do you have to be to get holidays off? Thanks.
