But I agree: looks like a potential spending spree. Although, "spree" sounds gleeful. This may be more of a binge, to keep JAL in oenworld, or one to inherit LCC. A binge leaves you feeling hungover, while a spree leaves you feeling rather satisfied.

And if we manage to return the favor on the TransAtlantic Pan Am binge that Crandall tricked Ron Allen into, well, it's all in good fun (I'm talking about the price tag, not questionning the acquisition).
