It is true that I don't know that FedElta would keep his word if there's a furlough. I believe he will.

An individuals past actions are indicative of his character. He didn't have to pull the pin at FedEx, but he did.

And IMO, he didn't "take" anybody's job. Delta elected to hire him knowing there's a short work period that he can fill. Why they did it, don't know, don't care. They could have gone for the "younger" guys at the interview. Maybe the younger guys would have been better served by setting up an interview prep with Albie.
But, that's only conjecture.
