Sure we don't cruise anywhere near .92 but our block times on several of our short range flights are shorter than those of our RJ counterparts and I'm pretty sure they cruise faster than us too.
I'd like to see an example; give me a flight # and city pairing I can look up on theHub. If the flight is short enough to remain below 10k, the difference between 250 kias and ~230 kias is nominal.
When was the last time you rolled out on final at 500agl in a citation x or any rj?
This justifies your "sophisticated and fast" statement how? RE: 500agl.. just about every time doing the expressway vis in LGA or river vis in DC; once again, not sure what your point is there.
