There will be plenty of "Big RJ's" (E-170'/190's) to go around to foster the advancement 'feeling' that those are seeking. Pilot's who share your dream of "moving on" can too cap as 20+ yr CA's at $92 and FO's at $43 while flying those pretty machines. Relax, those 'concessionary' wages are likened to many of the mainline carriers concessionary CBA's....Oh wait, concessions can't happen to the Regionals?? Keep telling yourself that if that's what you honestly believe. If Mgt can do it to the mainline, don't kid yourself that the Regional Arena is immuned to such greed from the top. This will just futher pad the Big Kahuna's Billfold at the CXO/BOD level....The "Big Daddy Bedford's" of the world will be a waiting for you! ANYONE who say's or thinks SCOPE is not 'that big of a deal', your not well to be flying in this industy.

On a serious note, I feel for all the UAL guys/gals being shown the door....for some, even after almost 10 years. No words to post (w/o the mods handing out violations) to decribe how "crappy" and mismanaged Tilton's Clan has jacked with a very formidable major aircarrier.....one that many saw as their "last-first major carrier". To all of the UAL furloughs (especially those shown the door on multi-furloughs), best of luck to you all.
