I've had my Ecco's for 4 years. They are, without a doubt, the most comfortable shoes I own. In addition to work, I wear them with suits and slacks. Well worth the $175, in my opinion.

I'd be curious to hear about the poster who had ecco's that cracked in the sole area. Perhaps we have different models.
