Who is to say that you didn't get "skewed representation of the facts" from SWAPA?
I'm not sure why, but anecdotal evidence from the interwebs shows the egos of many SWA pilots was damaged because FAPA and the pilots they represent weren't willing to accept the staple (and all its pros/cons..and yes, there were cons) that was offered to them.
They made their decision. Its over now. Let it go.
If things
really get as bad as some here are prophesying, then you'll have a year or two of really stiff competition in DEN and SWA will be able to pick up the pieces on the cheap once F9/RAH becomes insolvent.
