The day FedEx flies this trip for free, I'll be OK with getting put on a company jumpseat instead of a commercial deadhead in the name of humanitarianism. We have a contract for a reason, and if you are OK with this, where does it stop. What circumstances justify a short circuit of the system. I don't think there is anything that this crew force wouldn't do for people in need. We've proven this time and time again. But we have had wages STOLEN from us since 4A2b was wrongly instituted and I for one am not inclined to stand by and let them do what ever they want in the name of humanitarian causes. Sorry if that sounds heartless.....
