When I was at ASA you could count on a few things during recurrent.
1) Watching grainy videos for the umpteenth time.
2) Having Mgmt come in and tell everyone that they were on the verge of winning a new super secret contract.

That was the standard fare for my eight years. Hopefully it will work out. More likely next year Mgmt will say "we backed away from that RFP because it wasn't a good fit. But we have a better one in the works."
