I guess I'm an old timer, but when I was at the regionals I flew a turboprop on routes like FAT-SMF. I did not want jets at my company, I wanted them to stay at mainline so I could get a mainline job. The regional guys have been so short sighted, and I'm afraid it has cost all of us. There will be no mainline jobs for a long, long time. I am really glad to see a slight change in the mentality, but I am afraid it is too late. SharkyBN584 is right, there has been no unity in this industry since deregulation. Look what has happened to our jobs since deregulation.
