Well lets put it this way, if UAUA, AMR, DAL or CAL cave one iota on scope the rest will follow. That is unless we get people that are willing to say no!

It all starts with one.

The nice thing today is most pilots see this career as raped and pilliaged and are willing to fight harder then in years past. Basically if there is one more cut or relaxation of scope, most will feel their job is gone and will move on. That give many the extra motivation they need to fight harder than in years past. The mentality has changed.

Fact is that this industry is fighting really hard for lower labor costs. It is trending that way. We can fight that and make the executives come up with a business plan that charges for the services provided, or we can continue to prove to them that, YES the cheaper tickets can keep coming out of the employees bank accounts. The choice is yours. Do not fool yourself in to anything else.
