I've been in the corporate/charter world for decades. I don't know anyone that gets a perdiem for subsistance. Everywhere I've worked (and that's continuiously since 1983) I've had a company Amex card and general spending limits for meals. The company has always arranged hotel/rental car which is good so the crews can't be accused of being spendy.

I've only heard of two flight departments who's pilots received any kind of a performance bonus or a bonus tied to the company's performance. They were both east coast fortune 500 type of operations.

Where I work we get a "kind of a bonus". Our salary makes us available 24/7/365, but if we work more than 16 days a month we get 300-500 bucks more per day.
