Having the data to look at issues and correct them as a whole is a great way to create better results for the group. This data has pin pointed issues in SFO, and MCO that have been fixed because of its use. I like the fact that we have come to an agreement on it!

The issues with MCO, how did FOQA point out that MCO was more concerned with SWA getting out first?
FOQA is awesome. When I was at Coex I remember they got all the data for our flights into PSP and found 80% or 90% of the approaches were unstabilized. They went in and figured out what the issues were and corrected them. That stuff makes a difference. It also cleaned up the whole operation meeting the stabilized approach at 1000' criteria.
And there was like a wall of shame, stuff like landing 7000' down a runway or more or just bizzare landing configurations and eventually the memo: "It is against ICAO law to simulate an emergency with passengers on board a commercial flight." They never explained that memo but I'm sure it ****ed some folks off.
