JMO, but the integrity of the flow to CPZ, and DAL pilot furlough protection protections has just been weakened.
At the same time the usual presentations were made that they are parking substantial numbers of 50 seaters, there are less DCI block hours, etc., however with the addition of 76 seater's the DCI ASM's are flat.
IOW less DCI pilots and airplanes flying the same amount of lift with larger aircraft that can more easily replace a 100 seat DC9 than a 50 seat CRJ.
Management keeps beating as the same drum as they have for several years there is no suitable 100 seat replacement.
What they really mean is for the mainline pilots
They don't like the E-series for the mainline, but seem to have no problem
buying them for DCI to be flown for us at less than half the cost.
