What exactly is the problem with opening the boards? I'm assuming the CRJ200 like most other aircraft of it's class has spoilers, so what's the problem? We use them all the time as needed on the jungle jet, heck; there are places where you absolutely have to have them to accomplish both the speed limitation and crossing altitudes. So again, please educate me, why can't you guys just deploy the spoilers to make up the difference???
A lot of guys think it makes them less of a pilot.....

I don't have time to mess with it. If I need them, I put them out. I could care less what anyone thinks of me. Kind of like asking for a wind check!
