I would avoid being too carrier-specific in your career goals. There's no telling where this business wil be in 5-10 years, or 5-10 years after that.
Man does that ring true, just what 2 years ago this forum was full of guys talking about how FedX/UPS where almost immune to downturns. Now they have paycuts and furloughs threatened at both.
