Those are are the "AIRPORT" movies. The original was a 707 that had some kind of problem. It was the basis for it's more famous spoof---"AIRPLANE".
The one with the airplane at the bottom of the ocean features Jack Lemmon as the Captian. After the aircraft settles to the bottom of the sea, he tells the passengers who are worried about running out of air------
