Ok. What's the deal with talking furloughs again? Just because the company is offering NFLs it doesn't mean furloughs are imminent. We should be happy our management team is willing to offer such a variety of options. Management would be fools NOT to offer NFLs before SILs. If they can get anyone to take some NFLs it's a good thing.
As far as furloughs after SOC, we've been down this road before. It's clear to me that management actually discusses the impact of furloughs. If they had itchy trigger fingers I think we would already have 180-450 of us on furlough right now. However, our management team realized that the plan for Spring/Summer 2010 won't allow that. Fall of 2010 is unpredictable, just like everything else. Everybody needs to chill on this F-Bomb talk.
