I'm all for getting 777's in a few years, as they already have, and will get more -400's. Another fleet type will mean more seats for us. While not as good for the UPS bottom line as a 3 airplane fleet they should have it's better for us. With us still stopping in ANC using -400's and MD11's we will need more pilots all other things held constant than Fred who will overfly ANC and shrink the ANC base. Considering the superior UPS profit margin I think we can stand the "loss" to gain/keep seats for us.

Afterall, it's all about us. I'll let UPS worry about their balance sheet (short term), as their stupid aversion to up front costs will cost them but benefit us, as the 777 is clearly the superior airplane is all respects from what I read.
