Pilots were hired into ab-intio training back in the 60’s and UAL was advertising in the newspaper for pilots back then, by the 80’s even you, 3XLoser couldn’t have landed a job (well you could have but chances are your airline would have tanked, not that you were involved, that the number of airlines that started and failed during the intial flurry after de-reg didn't end well in the long run, 'cept LUV).
