At first I didn't mind the uniforms. Now, I'm not really a fan.

When we swapped uniform shirt suppliers the new shirts have a terrible fit, fade quickly, and have extremely weak seams. The fade issue is terrible, some people feel it's necessary to continue wearing a shirt that is more light blue (nearing the same color as our gate agents and FA's) it really looks cheap. Some of our ties are downright ugly, and you can catch a few guys walking around in hiking boot-esq shoes complete with a backpack. I never liked the sew on wings, I had my dress jacket stolen a few weeks after IOE so I really can't comment on the fit or wear of it. I do like the cut of our leather, it's the only cold weather gear I wear. The Capt. Stubing vest looks like garbage especially on the guys with a gut, and the Columbine trench coat isn't for me. There's plenty of pilots that have decided that any item distributed by the company is a valid uniform piece. Windbreakers, fleece jackets, I think I even saw a ramper jacket once... classy. I'm glad we don't have hats...

As far as the TSA thing... it's all the more reason to swap to white shirts.
