Sorry, I don't need to rationalize anything. I know I did the right thing not only for those facing a potential furlough but also for the IPA as a whole and also for myself and my family. If you chose not to participate, good for you, it is your right, however when you look at yourself in the mirror you better get good at rationalizing your actions.

Actually thinking about it I am a little selfish. I chose not to give UPS any of my sick bank because I would get nothing in return. I chose instead to take a a couple of payperiods per year off and have UPS give me money to do so.
