My dad and I are looking to buy a twin. Thoughts on the following:
(He is an A320 driver with 15,XXX hours of ME time.)

- That makes insurance cheap
- He and I go and build my ME time (I log PIC and he is there for dual and insurance reasons) to where I become a competent MEI and get an affordable insurance rate to fly the twin solo.
- I go out and solicit other aspiring airline pilots and instruct them/ help them build ME time
- I have cheap insurance (since I've acquired the hours and own 50% of the plane) and they get a better rate on ME time since they avoid flight school mark up and training insurance rates/overhead.
- AND/OR I contract/leaseback with an FBO where they guarantee me enough $ in a month to cover my aircraft expenses and I become a contract ME instructor for them and build my ME time that way i.e. spend the winters in AZ and summers back in MN.

Am I missing any glaring roadblocks/hiccups here?
